    Thats because it isn't

A sunset is real, a computer image is not.

brian, you should black stuff out instead of attempting to blur it.

I'm pretty sure I have had MSN messenger hacked before. I was talking to a friend in Canada (Jenn) and she was also talking to her sister (Kassi). Well I got a message from Jenn asking if I wanted to see some new photographs she recently took, only it hadn't come from Jenn at all but instead from somewhere else but having Jenn's name tag and speaking as if it was Jenn. The same thing happened at the same time to Jenn from her sister. I accepted the file and so did Jenn (from her sis or not as was the case) and after the file had downloaded, it was only because I noticed that it was an exe file not a jpg that I twigged something was up. I told Jenn and she deleted the file but it was lucky as she wouldn't have known what it was she was opening. Really strange!!

Sure is, a mate of mine downloaded an arcade emulator and loads of games, one was streetfighter 2 which took me right back to when I was a teenager. Can't beat that game!! absolutely brilliant!! As it's an arcade emulator you even get the "insert coin" flashing up in the corner!!

Hotmail is essentially a network of the following:

    - A central, home HTML file - the place where you log in.

-This form is sent to a CGI file, which generates other HTML files and displays them

    - These program generated files also have forms, that lead to other CGI scripts, etc.

It's a very good concept, I'm working on something similar right now. It's perfect actually, because on a C:\ it runs very fast, it makes higher level system programming VERY easy and portable (all you need is C, HTML, no compilers, and it runs on any system in the world). There's just one drawback - HACKABLE. DEAD HACKABLE. All you need is some decent FTP software and you're in. Other than the CGI network thing, it's also hackable just because their programmers aren't that big on the security thing. Yahoo is the same way - you just give them your email address and they send any specified account's password to you. Inactive accounts are especially vulnerable because the owner is less likely to catch a mysterious change in password before you're in. Not that I've tried this before or anything.....

One other thing I forgot to mention, is that another risk is if you don't have servlets or something like that, people can view your files, rendering copyrights practically useless.
