    I found a penny...

Earlier today, I found a penny, picked it up, and for the rest of the day I had good luck.

You guys in the states must be real unlucky, because you have cents, but do you have magpies there? Seeing a single magpie is bad luck, and I see them too much. I guess having no magpies in the states would even things out.

Yeah, but we have Roger Ebert.

For what it's worth, the one cent coin is commonly referred to as a penny here in the States, but stopping to pick it up is more likely to throw your back out than yield good fortune.

True, because all of us Americans have to lug around that extra 200 pounds that strangely appears on your gut when you enter the country.

Either you have to start exercising or switch to light beer. Both options are painful.

You notice how fat people always buy a diet coke with their two cheeseburgers and large fries?

Actually, yes I have noticed that. It's an endless source of amusement.

My cat is dreaming and it is like peddling its paws in its sleep

    It is dreaming of cycling.

your cat has ambitions... my tries to bite it's tale in its sleep. I'm considering just shooting it to put it out of its misery.

I hear the airlines are planning on taxing you for that service when you enter the country.
