very true............well I have a teacher that she says that she wants to be treated equally she doesn't even want men to open doors for her, because "she can open it herself", and on the other hand there're some girl that say that chivalry is dead, so who to listen to?

Yeah, it seems guys always get the trong end of the deal here... but I guess I've just learned to live with it. ...And to her thaqt wants to open her own door - well, let her do it, guess it's even easier for you, isn't it?

yup she's a pretty nice person though.

How come there are women starring at me, thinking I look down at them ? I've never heard a man tell me I should let him open the doors himself.

Wrong. Men are mentally superior when it comes to spatial skills and building mental images of 2D objects like maps. Men are better at throwing and running. Men are better at carrying stuff. In one word: Men evolved for some thousand years to be the better lunch-chasers.

Men are at a disadvantage when it comes to noticing little signs, gestures and nuances. Men are using 3000-5000 words per day, while women use 15.000 to 20.000. Women have a wider field of vision. Ever stood in front of the fridge and not been able to find the butter ? Ever had your girlfriend come up and point straight at it ? Women can do more things at once. Men can only concentrate at one thing at a time. In one word: Women evolved to be gatherers and relationship-builders, to make their nest a secure place.

We can try to give out laws saying they have to be equal and if we follow these laws for another 10 Million years, evolution won't fail, and we will be equal.

In the meantime, please don't tell me we are equal just because the law says so. Equal chances, equal respect, fine. But we have to respect that we are different. Not better, not worse, just different.

Laws tend to be stupid, men and women are physically, mentally, and emotionally different and no law will change that. I'm just a little biased of course, thinking that my different is more useful than your different
