I heard that Microsoft is releasing another Windows......is this True? I mean XP just came out not so long ago.........if this is true....then I'll probably start making my transition to Linux as my main operating system.......and use Windows for school projects and other things which require software that only windows has.

64-bit Windows is just the 64-bit version of Windows XP. It is still Windows XP though.

Windows .Net Server (former whistler) should be out in the next few months but its not really a home product... think its beta 3 at the moment - i did check my server but i just have a build number on it and so cant be bothered to cross check with a beta number
