It got more basis than the basis you got against Taliban and Bin Laden. Actually if a Muslim person did that and they don’t want anyone to know it then why wouldn’t they leave some stuff written in israelis language and wear the small hat (or whatever you call it) that the jewish wear when they are on the planes??

I don't know if it really was in 1991, but I think it is fake because of the time. It shows that it was during the day in Palestine and it was about 11am in N.Y. and there is like 8 hours between N.Y. and Palestine. So it would be about 7pm in Palestine, which means it should be dark. So how did that happen??
Well even if it was truth why did the CNN keep it and they did not keep the pictures of the five jewish (israeli jewish) that were celebrating in N.Y. few blocks away from the WTC?? They had this on the CNN for a couple of hours and then they removed this from their site.

    1. ARABS, MUSLIMS, ALSO BURIED UNDER NEW YORK RUBBLE
[Middle East News Online - Sept. 14, 2001]
    ================================================== =====================

NEW YORK -- Nissam Hafiz is an Arab-American. Like thousands of American
victims, he is buried under the rubble of the towers of the World Trade Center. Hafiz's sister stands somewhere close to the rescue operation in New York holding tight to her brother's picture, asking people: "have you seen this man?"

Waleed Iskandar and Gerges Hashem, both Arab-Americans from Lebanon, have also been confirmed dead; they were passengers on American Airlines
Flight 11 that crashed into Tower One of the World Trade Center.

Hashem, a 37-year-old resident of Boston, was a product manager at the Teradyne Company. He left Lebanon some three decades ago, but visited the country regularly. He was married to Rita Hashem, and the couple have two children.

Iskandar, 34, and his South African fiancée, had arranged to travel to the Los Angeles area to meet Iskandar's parents. Iskandar, who resided in London where he worked for the Monitor consulting firm, had been in the Boston area for three days visiting his brother.

But the Hafiz, Iskandar and Hashem family's other tragedy, besides the grievous loss of their sons, is the fact that they -- like millions of Muslims and Arabs in the U.S. -- are being made scapegoats of Americans who want to vent their anger.

"I just don't understand this," an Arab-American university student told Middle East News Online. "We are part of this tragedy, we are buried under the rubble, we are sharing our blood with the survivors, we are helping in the rescue efforts, we are praying for the victims' families, we're raising American flags over our houses, and shedding tears while watching the horrific scenes on television... But here we are, standing alone, facing the hate of millions who, rather than searching for the real criminals, chase after innocent Americans for simply being of a different background or a different faith."

The Washington Post reported that at least 100 Muslim organizations (to date) in the United States have reported hate crimes and harassment. In the Washington D.C. area, two mosques and a bookstore were vandalized. In New York, a man pointed a gun at an Arab gas station attendant, threatening to shoot him. In Texas, assailants attacked a mosque with random gunfire.

Considering the large number of Muslims and Arabs living and working in the New York area, it is expected that a significant number of them have lost their lives or are still buried under the rubble.

Muslim groups are expressing their disappointment that the major media and many segments of U.S. society have tried -- through their words and public behaviour -- to segregate and strip them of their proud identity as Americans, simply for being of Arab origin or professing the Islamic faith.

Meanwhile, Nissam Hafiz's family and dozens of other Muslim and Arab
families continue to wait -- along with grieving relatives and friends of victims who came here from more than three dozen different nations. they all wait to hear of the fate of their loved ones.

How can they be victims of terrorism themselves and yet be accused, whether openly or subtly, of also being co-perpetrators. No one seems to have an answer. Because we should not have to ask such a cruel question.

And do you expect him (or any Muslim) to like America when it is helping our enemies to fight us??

I know that the U.S. helps some of the 3rd world countries but they do not do it for nothing. In Africa, they just help the people that are Christians, they won’t help Muslims even thought in the media they will say that they are helping the whole country but they help them if they would convert to be Christians. Lots of Muslims die there and the aid workers do not help them at all because they are Muslims. Do you think that would make any Muslim like the U.S.?? And do you think people in Afghanistan will like the U.S. because they are sending them food and bombing them at the same time?? And now the U.S. is sending food to Sudan, Do you know why they just started doing this? Because they just discovered oil there.

Sorry, they do. They kill them all the time. Even if you think that all the Palestinian that were killed by israelis were fighting them (with stones) and that is why they deserve to die then tell me why would they kill little kids?? I think that all the world seen how they killed Muhammad Al-Durra a 12 years old kid that was trying (with his dad) to protect them selves from the israelis that were shooting them and in the end killed the little boy and his father was badly injured. The photographer that saw this said there was about 40 bullets that got in the wall near Muhammad and his father that did not have any kind of weapon with them they were just crossing the street and there was no curfew or anything and it was during the day. And even if you think they somehow did something bad tell me why did they killed Eiman?? She is about 6 months old and they shot her and her pictures were everywhere, and I do not think that 6 months old can do anything. I can send you the pictures if you want if you do not believe me. And the Palestinian lived in Palestine before the israeli even if you will check the history you will know that the Arabs lived there before the first jewish person.

I thought that it says in the bible that if someone hits you to turn the other cheek or something like that. Anyways, In Islam if someone hits you, you can hit him back but it is better if you don’t. And if your going to hit back then hit THEM back the people that did it and do not hit the wrong people.

Correction: Palestinian kids see israeli soldiers everywhere shooting/hitting/killing/torturing their parents/neighbors/friends and all their loved ones all the time, do you think that would make them love israelis?? And do not forget they came to their land and they want to kick them out of it or just kill them all.

You (well, most of you) don't know what it's like to be at war, we are at war here and all we want is peace, and we are not using Bio/Chem/Nuclear weapons!!! Like one guy back there said, the guerrilla uses gas tanks filled with explosives and metralla (nails and fun stuff like pointy steel chunks)

Going to a war like this sounds terryfying, imagine going to THE war (the one we're talking about).

    The world needs peace.

But right now I would rather be over there, bacause you're safer than in the USA, because in there you can have masks or stuff like that; but not because I want to fight.

yeah, the WTC thing is completely horrible, but even more people have died at colombia because of the war, and we are still thinking of peace (maybe it's because we (most colombians) are true catholics)

    1. Read this

Translated roughly, Taliban means "students" or "seekers of knowledge," though by now the term holds a much more loaded meaning to many around the globe.

The current rulers of Afghanistan, the Taliban would be considered a repressive regime by virtually any measure. Women enjoy virtually no rights in Afghanistan, where they are not allowed to attend school, work or even hang out in most public spaces. Public executions are routine under the Taliban and citizens can receive corporal punishment for crimes as minor as not sporting the correct length beard. Viewing of secular movies or television is strictly forbidden and western entertainment such as MTV is particularly unacceptable. Even seemingly harmless activities such as dancing and kite flying are not allowed.

The Taliban justify these rules through their reactionary, fundamentalist interpretation of the teachings of Islam. They virulently oppose the rise of western culture, which they view as decadent and an affront to God. They condemn any tangible signs of the West that impose on what they view to be the lands of Islam, among these being the state of Israel. Eliminating the Jewish state is a prominent part of their ideological agenda.

When Soviet troops packed up and left Afghanistan in 1989 after an unsuccessful 10-year attempt to gain control of the country, a power vacuum emerged. After an armed struggle, the Taliban seized the capital city of Kabul in 1996. Today, they rule all but the northeasternmost region of the country, which is controlled by a coalition of rebels known as the Northern Alliance (see "What Is Afghanistan's Northern Alliance?").

The Taliban have become the center of the world's attention and the object of U.S. wrath over the past month for their role in harboring terrorists, specifically Osama bin Laden. In the weeks leading up to the U.S.-led attacks on Afghanistan, President Bush demanded that they turn over bin Laden or be considered enemies of the United States. The leaders of the Taliban chose the latter course and the bombings began.

Despite their notoriety, knowledge about specific members of the group is still relatively patchy, though their leader, Mullah Mohammed Omar, is a recluse who rarely makes public statements, and then only through aides.
    2. We are boming the taliban since they refused to give up Bin Landen. We gave them as second, they give him up the bomming stops.

They are allowed to attend schools but in Islamic countries women do not study at the same schools men study in (some studies in the U.K. (I think) proved that studying in an all boys or all girls school makes students learn better) and if you watch anything showing you people in Afghanistan you will see the women there which means they are allowed to be in public.

They will be punished for not having the correct length beard?? Where did you get that from?? And what is the correct length for beards? There is no such a thing like that and again if you are going to watch anything about Afghanistan you will see that some of them does not have beard at all.

Some of them got TVs but they are so poor they hardly even got electricity and MTV (and anything like it) is full of bad things so it is good not to view it. And I never heard that there is anything wrong with kite flying and yes dancing (men and women) is not allowed because it is a bad thing (sorry I do not know how to explain why but if I found a site talking about it I will post a link).

Most contries in the world after seeing the evidence link the terrorism to Bin Lauden and al Ciada. The Taliban unfortunately do not want to participate with the rest of the world. In the end there will be no more Taliban. We should be talking about the next government. Hopefully it will represent the mixed cultures in that region and people will get along. I think that the prime minister of Pakistan is a cool. He doesn't seem like a military dictator like Sodom. That is the first time I heard from anyone from Pakistan.

    Love Muslims(u too "a muslim")!!

Well......i'm one that is in a deep dilemma. i have a very loving friend who by faith and birth is a muslim. There is a no better human than him in this earth, i bet lord. And on the other hand, as i said earlier in one of the other threads......i'll be the first to jump outa joy if Taliban is killed and Dawood Ibrahim is brutually murdered.

They are juz individuals to me and i dun see them as muslims by any chance, though they declare themselves as representatives of muslims.

I can understand wat "a muslim" feels, for so does my friend feels too. He is being hated for no reason.

Well arriving at the point.....Yes, i would sign up for any fight against the brutal terrorists..who know no diff btw lives & peas. But unfortunately America wouldn't want me :-(....for i'm not her kid!!*

How cute, Mr. Muslim--start your rant pleading for sympathy for
the muslims allegedly killed in this murderous muslim terrorist
attack and then switch to that tired old put-the-Americans-on-
a-guilt-trip routine with complaints about muslims being
harrassed by Americans. It just goes to show me that muslims
don't give damn about anybody but themselves, and they'll
try any means available to them to get what they want, including
mailing anthraxed letters to innocent human beings, while pleading mercy, mercy from an unsuspecting enemy. And while
we are on the subject of hate crimes, just how safe has it been
for Americans to walk the streets of any muslim country the past
few years. How secure would my person be walking down
Saddam Blvd. in Baghdad, or Avenue of the Ayatollahs in Tehran?
You're just another muslim hypocrite who complains about
mistreatment of your kind but does nothing al all to counteract
mistreatment of our kind. We know you now. We have tried to
live in peace with you. You say you want peace while your
comrades butcher all of humanity's moral guidelines, including
your male-dominated treatment of women. Well, the party's

Anybody watch the concert for the N.Y.C. emergeny workers
at Madison Square Garden last night? It was on tv here,
channel 13, a public broadcasting station. Wow! What a
great show: Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Melissa Etheridge, Adam Sandler,
The Who, The Rolling Stones, Destiny's Child, Billy Crystal,
Chevy Chase do ing a Dubya impersonation, Howard Stern,
Backstreet Boyz...the show was still on when I left for work
at 10:30. It was a moving experience to see those firefighters
holding up the pictures of their lost friends and relatives and to
hear each and every performer salute these great people and
express their hearfelt emotions. It was a pretty low-keyed
affair at 7:30 when I first tuned in, but by 10:00? Man that
place was rockin and rollin and having just a good time gettin
down and brown. There was even a hip hop guy there, not the
most endearing music to firemen, if you know what I mean, but
the people liked him, too, and danced to his brand of melody.

Since Sept. 11, I definitely sense a coming together of the
different peoples around here. We seem to be doing a little bit
more to show ourselves and others that we can treat everybody else
as civil as we ourselves would like to be treated. Last night was
just one more demonstration of that. Let's hope and pray it lasts.

that concert was spectacular, although i only caught two or three of the acts. Ohh well, at least Chris Kattan was funny... too bad he was introducing Destiny's Child.

I forgot to mention that the GOO GOO Dolls were also there.
Haven't seen them in ages. Eric Clapton, too, with another
blues man, a black guy who I didn't recognize, although I know
he must be famous. Man, they were great--that's when the crowd started to loosen up a bit. Adam Sandler's a nut, isn't he?
I don't really like his music, but man, he had me laughing my arse
    off as Opraman.
