    To citizens of the UK

This morning on abc news there was an articale about the worlds response to the Terisost atack. It was then I heard about how they played the "Star Spangled Banner" at Buckenham Palace for the very first time.

When I heard the music I thought it was one of the most beutiful , if not the most beutiful, times I had heard the star spangled banner played.

    --Thank you.

Yeah, I saw that too, on the news last night. That was very touching.
The word rap as it applies to music is the result of a peculiar phonological rule which has stripped the word of its initial voiceless velar stop.

Not all of them, anyway! But yes! I heard it! It WAS beautiful.
I wasn't watching the telly at the time, but while I was
listening, I was thinking to myself that it must be coming
from Washington National Cathedral, where they were
televising services for our national day of mourning.

That's a beautiful thing and I'm sure most of the British
population stands with us, as we have stood with them
    before.

Also, I have just heard that the last night of the BBC proms has been alterred to include works by an American composer.

Much to my displeasure I hear they have also removed the traditional 'Land Of Hope And Glory' as the finale.

    Grr...
