I've always liked Stevie Ray's version of it best. That song and Steve Miller's The Joker are the reasons I bought a wah pedal. Funny, but I don't play those songs very often (the wah pedal was still a good investment though).
If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around to see it, do the other trees make fun of it?

He (SRV) also did a real cool version of Little Wing

Being a big fan of both, I have always wondered if it was like in the movie "Crossroads".
JH and SRV selling their souls to the devil for seven years as the best guitarist in the world.

Or would JH have turned out like old fat Elvis?

As Neil Young said "Its better to burn out than fade away, Rust never sleeps"

(FlameRetardant: Elvis was the king once, with Scotty Moore his guitarist, but lost it towards the end. Look at where he died. IMO)

20 of Jimmi's best have been in my car CD for two weeks now, can't take him off.

Trying to get 'Wind cries Mary' down at the moment. Love 'Little Wing', part of my inspration to learn guitar (when I can play it properly I will have mastered the guitar and can give it up) but is not easy on an non cutaway accoustic.
