    Microsft could (should?) help

I read an article on slashdot that the US Red Cross are seeking computer equipment, desktops, storage media, network systems cat5 cables, msce engineer etc.

i think it would be nice if microsoft donated these to the relief.

If this is so, why hasn't it been in the news (or news paper) for example? $10.000.000 is quite a bit of dough, well, not for 'ol Billy at least...

Bill Gates often gives a lot of money to charity without it being splashed all over the 6 o'clock news.

    TAX break?

A lot of companies donate a lot to charities for tax breaks as I understand it.

OR maybe I'm wrong and they are just full of human goodness.

    Its all in your mind...
