    Printers On USB

    Hey,

Ok, i have a hp 1220c and hp 950c, both are usb or paralel.

The 1220c is now running on paralel, and works fine. I now want to use my old 950c on a usb connection. So i plugged it in.. and win xp detected it, i then installed hps driver.

Now whenever i print on the usb 950c it crashes the PC. I then tried putting the 950c on LPT1, and the 1220c on USB and again the 1220c crashed the pc.

Does anyone know what i am doing wrong here, i have the latest drivers, and chose USB connection when i installed it and it still crashed the pc. Also the toolbox said it coudnt detect the printer on usb, but it would start printing fine.

    Thanks for any help.

Maybe the printer in the USB port is trying to use the other printer's driver.
