    home networking

Is it possible to create a usb network? Something similar to this:

USB -> USB HUB -> USB

Also, with ethernet networks can you get lan cards and hubs compatible with windows 95, 98, & ME?

Yes. In fact, the hub won't care or know what OS is being used on the systems it connects. Ethernet cards, or Network Interface Cards (NICs), are quite common for Windows.

Try this: Start->Settings->Control Panel->Network. Click Add, then double-click Adapter. You will now have a list of all the NICs your particular installation of Windows can support without adding additional drivers.

You can also STFW or swing by your local computer store and ask for network cards that support Windows.
