My addiction to caffeine's more psychological than physical... I just feel better with nice bottle of Mountain Dew sitting near me...

    > playdough [silly putty, for you yanks], the non-toxic stuff

Play-doh and silly putty are two totally different things. Play-doh's a soft, clay-like thing that kids play with. It also tastes rather salty. Silly Putty's the rubbery stuff that you can roll into a ball and bounce it or put it over the comics to make backwards copies.

Oh yes, and mountain dew is the nectar of the gods. Don't you forget it.

hmm... Mt. Dew... i had the same problem with that that Brian had at one point... I drank it like a fiend at school... then came home and it wasn't always readily available... and I'd get a headache if I didn't have one from time to time... (plus i hear it has adverse affects on your willy over time)

regardless... i don't drink much soda anymore (or pop for you Michigan people ) and the headaches are gone... plus i've dropped a few pounds too

    not harmful?

    howdy,

    >Caffiene can be more harmful that weed.<
    >But weed is about as harmful as playdough<

physically maybe not. however in most states depending on the circumstance, it can harm your career, i might add doing time is one of the most harmful activities i have ever had to partake in.
so in the descusion of the harmful effects of drugs do not forget the societaly(sp) effect. i was never asked by narcs, judges, DA's or prison gaurds if the LB of pot i had in my posession was physically harmful to me.

First of all, itld did you get your life back on track? I hope you did man.

...and another thing. Caffiene can be more harmful that weed. This is from self-experience.

This is so freaking funny......lol........how in the world would someone say something like this, come on man you know better. The most you can get from caffeine is maybe some high blood pressure and stuff like that...headaches maybe....but you don't lose control of yourself and harm others, which could happen with weed. I mean like I said on flashdaddee if you're going to smoke smoke responsibly in your own home and as long as you don't harm any other person I am ok with it. Smoke away.......just remember smoke responsibly.....doesn't mean that I'd be willing to try it myself, just be responsible about it. I mean buying coffee or a soda doesn't make you have to deal with drug dealers that are willing to kill and all that. For the time being I'd stick to drinking once in a while, responsibly and moderately.....mind you that I've gone about 7 months without drinking so I am not hooked on it and I am glad for that.

BUT IF YOU ARE GOING TO SMOKE......SMOKE RESPONSIBLY

You can lethally overdose on caffiene. (shock!) LOL. You cannot lethally overdose on marijuana.

In fact, here's a little interesting fact for you kiddies: Eating 10+ raw potatoes can result in a lethal reaction with a chemical that potatoes contain. However, it is physically impossible to ingest enough marijuana to induce death.

Many scientists that have researched marijuana agree that, physically, it's one of the safest substances known to man.

    >but you don't lose control of yourself and harm others, which could happen with weed.<

It could happen, but the only time I've heard of loosing control and harming others happened in Reefer Madness. Oh man, the writer of that movie must have been doing some serious drugs...

    >mind you that I've gone about 7 months without drinking so I am not hooked on it and I am glad for that.<

    I congratulate you, my friend.

Heh, humans are really pretty fradgile. We can be killed by just about too much anything (oxygen, water, french fries, meat... not to mention lack of things, water, too much weed thus lack of oxygen....)

When you dive underwater, there is a lack of oxygen. If, however, you surface, your oxygen is replenished.

Twas a joke. The key word being too much, and I already admitted we can die of too much water (dive too long and resurfacing will be done as a corpse.. at least that's the theory.. maybe you could grab a fish and suck the oxygen out its gills or something.. but probably not).
