    I am back!

Well... Phoenix was fun. I had a great time. My son saw my sister (his aunt) for the first time, and it was tough seperating the two.

The job search didn't go as well as planned, but things are still in the works.

School will be out in three weeks, so I will be writing my FAQ on file IO as soon as that happens.

It is good to be back in Hawaii. It is good to be back here on the boards with my brethren and sisteren.

    Love,

    Betazep

    >>> It is good to be back in Hawaii.

    Really? Why's that?

... now, where was I, ah yes, must remember to try to get all the salt off the car, and that damn ice on the drive needs clearing again, and boy, those piles of snow over there look really grim with all that black stuff on them, oh great, it's raining...

    Seriously, welcome back!

Is there a lot of industry on Hawaii? It is probably wrong of me, but I have an image of Hawaii which stops after palm trees, grass skirted hula girls, brightly coloured shirts and sunshine.

    Shatter my image!

    *** EDIT ***

Actually, the clouds have broken and there have been occasional sightings of a bright shiny orb in the sky since I last wrote! Many people panic'd but there were a few oldens around who remembered when that happened before that calmed things a bit!

Not that i should but i cant resist bragging.

I just came in from outside working and its so warm i had my shirt off. Can anywhere else really compare? I'm a 1/2 hour drive from snowy hills, 2 minutes from the ocean, 15 minutes from the edge of a designated rainforest, and its been sunny and warm for the past week... And likely will be until april where (as it does every year) it will rain an amount approximatly equal to the Pacific Ocean every day for the entire month. We've gotten this weird false-sunner every mid feb-march for the past few years. Cant say i'm complaining.

Too bad that offer didnt work out, Betazep. Cant imagine a better place to work (besides Whistler Blackcomb ) than Hawaii . I hear they have some nice tidal based water chutes there (i know the name of 'em but i'm feeling stupid right now) that you can hop in as the water goes out and they'll suck ya hundreds of feet out to sea in seconds. I've done some wimpier ones in Mexico and they're tons of fun. How better to relax after a hard days typing than to hurl your body through a tiny water filled stone tunnel completly at the mercy of mother nature? You check those out when you were there?
