    >>>How better to relax after a hard days typing than to hurl your body through a tiny water filled stone tunnel completly at the mercy of mother nature? You check those out when you were there?<<<

Well... a few years back, we had some wopping 45 footers that killed several people. Imagine being at the bottom of a wave that towers over you like a five story building. Some people got the ride of their lives... and lived to tell about it.

I usually stick to body boarding on smaller 2-5 ft waves. Haven't done much of it lately with my schedule and after I lost my flipper when I was smashed across the coral from a really demanding set.

Do a lot more beach going/walking with the kid and wife lately... she always finds that romantic and it gets her away from the rigor of being a mom.

    >>> sightings of a bright shiny orb in the sky

That was then, this is now. Below zero of course, hard wind from the mainland and 10cm snow per hour right now.

    >>> she always finds that romantic

Mine too. Still, it's not so bad, (well - in the summer), evening meal in the garden, couple of bottles of chilled white wine, walk along the beach for a couple of hours, (it's light until 23:00), sit around with some friends chatting until well dark, then up to the house and ...
Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity unto the dream.

    and what?

    The suspense is killing me.

...and you get your gear to go river rafting.

    ...and you paint the kitchen.

oh wait... now I get it

...and you corral the elephants into their pens for the night.

    that has to be it.
