    There are loads of ASM boards out there with already established members.......I find it hard to believe that anyone able to use ASM is not able to use Google to find these boards

    This forum has a nice tight set of boards and the theme......well folks,................ its all in the name........

    I want an Orangutan Maintenance board! Somewhere we can discuss the best deals on banana replacement and tranquilizer darts! The silent majority's kept quiet long enough!

    if you want to understand the inner workings of a computer, buy a book, take a class, search the web... do not expect to find an enlightenment of ASM on here even if it does become a forum... it'll be like any other board... where there is help offered, but to grow and learn in it, you'll need to do some work on your own... don't be retarded, people.

    This is a great community and I have learnt alot about C from it. I feel everyone would benifit from an ASM board.

    Benifits of an ASM board
    * Help people learn ASM
    * Help people with problems in ASM
    * Help people with their problems in C-Embedded ASM

    Disadvantages of an ASM board
    * Flashdadee gets fewer members

    Hmm...maybe all the people who don't want an ASM board just want flashdadee to have more members...?

    Really, that was quite needless. ASM is a totally different language, even though C and ASM are related in certain facets. Find another board for it.

    It's not "a totally different language", C is a way of simplifying ASM.

    A compiler converts all the code into ASM and then assembles it.

    We can make everyone happy by putting a link to an asm board on this site.

    Brian - you forgot another disadvantage:
    People crossposting to the C, C++, and ASM boards, saying: "How do I do inline assembly in C? What's mov?"

    Just make the ASM board hidden to unregistered users.
