    Assembly forum

Do you think we should have a forum for assembly language? (This was suggested by someone else in a different post).

    I think so...

Even though I don't know asm yet I'm planning on learning it and I thik this would be a good place to ask questions.

ARGX! This will be added to the FAQ so that we can whole-heartedly flame people for suggesting new forums, right? Or at least add in "Any suggestions for new forums will be deleted immediately"

There are many ASM sites out there, hell even flashdaddee has an ASM board. This board is for C and its offshoots ONLY. Good Lord is it that hard to remember?

But wasn't the c designed wholely around being useful to programmers?
An asm board would still fit in the spirit of c.

ASM, for most C programmers, is an integral part of their code, and I think it would be helpful to have an ASM forum.

I agree with -Ken-, this is a cboard and that is why I love it. there are enough asm boards out there.

    >>This will be added to the FAQ

while i agree that there should be an assembly board, it's a lost cause. it's been asked many times before, and with the same response: NO. instead of wasting your energy convincing these people of the benefits of an asm board in a high population web site, look for another board.

Sure, IMHO if their is any other language comparable to C\C++ it is ASM, so I vote yes if for no other reason than for others to understand the inner working of a Computer

In other words, if you teach your cat to bark (output) and eat dog food (input) that doesn't make him a dog. It would have to chase cars, chew bones, and have puppies before I'd call it Rover ;-)
