if a contradiction was contradicted would that contradition contradict the origional crontradiction?
make a bootdisk and boot off your floppy drive. ::ezahh! the answer... has... been told...:: tee hee

ok, this may be the most stupid question on the planet, but does XP even have DOS built under it like 98??
I thought XP was built on NT technology, hence removing any existence of DOS...
then again, if you make a dos boot disk, it doesn't really matter...
no, XP is like NT and 2000, and does not actually have dos. It has a dos simulator for some things that need dos, but that is about it
Hey,
You also need fdisk, casue XP uses NTFS which dosnt let you access your HDD from dos. So put fdisk and format on your boot disk, then erase and recreate your primary partition. Then format it

To much unnescesary work! jeez!

>casue XP uses NTFS
well aw shucks...
now you'll have to boot under XP, make the boot disk on a FATxx partition _with_ my program on it and mouse driver, and _then_ run it... shucks!
