    Synergy

    http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/

Just tried this today at work and this thing makes my job much easier. If you develop on or have multiple workstations at your home/office you have to try this out. It's a snap to get it running and easy to configure.

It allows you to use one mouse across all your workstations.

    Man, I'm loving it.
Makes me look so geek! I'm getting people over for the weekend on some excuse just to show of.
    Thanks Bubba.

I used to use it, but it would bug out frequently. For example I would suddenly be unable to use certain keys in applications, like in Outlook it would start acting like a control key was pressed and windows would disappear, or it would stop accepting individual letters. And the Windows key can screw it up as well.

But I hope it works better for you all

The new version has functionality to turn off certain keys if they cause bad behavior on your systems.

So far I've had no troubles with it aside from the mouse cursor hesitating on the task bar when switching between apps. For the advantages it offers that is certainly something I can live with.
