So, there was a period of time today while at work where I found myself with not much to do. In my free time I did what I always do: read slashdot, read wikipedia, etc., etc., etc.
My readings somehow took me to read about the city of Sibari in Italy, which is nearby a city in Italy where I used to live. After the interesting read, I opened up Google Earth and did some exploring.
Eventually I came upon a town I visited once called Morano. It sits in the heart of the Calabria region of Italy and has some amazing views (especially from the castle at the top of the hill). Something that I found that was awesome is that real height-maps have been implemented into Google Earth, and so all the elevation is present.
So I found one of my photos from Morano when I was visiting there, and then I situated myself into the same location on Google Earth, and this is what I got:

Amazing view, isn't it? I was also pleasantly surprised that it was so accurately depicted in Google Earth.
