    Difference between Moderator, Super Moderator, Administrator...?

    Hi,
    I noticed this site has Moderators, Super Moderators, & Administrators.
    What's the difference between them?

    Moderators are moderate, super moderators are super moderate, and administrators are excessive

    If I understand correctly, with vBulletin, the difference between moderators and super moderators is one of jurisdiction: moderators are assigned to specific areas, but super moderators are assigned everything. Administrators simply have more power over the message board itself, rather than just the threads and posts.

"Finding the smallest program that demonstrates the error" is a powerful debugging tool.

    On almost every forum you will visit, you will see that moderators moderate a specific section or forum in a site. Super moderators moderate everything and may have other powers (like promote other moderators). Global Moderators are like Super Moderators, except they have less powers, and Administrators can edit the boards, add or delete boards, and do other advanced functions.

    Their duties really depend on the site, though.

    That is Off Topic, so you are not allowed to ask it

    That said, it has been brought up before

    I work on a project calls CDS. I tell people it means Can't Discuss Squat (in reality that last word is replaced with something a bit coarser)
    Code:
    //try
    //{
    	if (a) do { f( b); } while(1);
    	else   do { f(!b); } while(1);
    //}

    I've done similar things before. Eventually got sick of explaining that I can't discuss what I'm doing so I started to make up stuff. Turns out that people, even technologically minded people, are quite a lot more gullible that I thought.
