I can't seem to find gdb in the recent mingw binary releases. I thought they used to package it with the mingw installer.

I see, I always mistake tar.bz files for being used for source only, at least when it's for a windows application.
I think it's because it can also be compiled on cygwin. Not sure though. I also always asked myself why they would tarball sources meant to be compiled under Windows... and that's the only explanation I could think of. Doesn't bother me. Just got me curious there for a while.

The thing is that file has the binary of gdb in them. *shrugs*
