    Editing posts

Just a quick question, is it possible to edit your posts? I notice at the bottom of threads it says "you may edit your posts" but i can't find a way to do it anywhere. I'm guessing its been disabled?

Just curious as i do make a lot of spelling mistakes especially when typing code so just wondered if there was a way to fix them.

There is a time limit where you can edit your post and it will not be shown as edited, then another time limit where you cannot edit it any more.

If they do, I ask them to find the smallest example that exhibits the problem and send me that. Mostly, they then find the error themselves. "Finding the smallest program that demonstrates the error" is a powerful debugging tool.

I don't know if there is a limit of "you must have X number of posts" or "you must have been a member for X days" or some such, but editing posts is certainly possible.
