    No, you aren't. If it's any consolation, no one is "special" enough. No one can upload animated avatars any more. (Except perhaps Prelude, but that's because she's a mod.) Those of us (like me) with animated avatars uploaded them a while ago when animated avatars were still allowed.

    I see nothing wrong.

    He's sees the below, and yes, I believe it has to do with the status message at the bottom of your post being too long with your name.

    Guess I'll try to salvage my old account on here. I'd rather not stretch threads (I hate it when that happens).

    I don't know about that. I've seen that before. Sometimes it happens on FF, sometimes it doesn't. A refresh usually solves it, even.

    I haven't seen that one in awhile! I want to say someone here used to have that one. That was quite some time though.

    (I got my account. I had logged in with this not too long ago but I reformatted and lost the password. I made this account back in 2002 and who knows what email address i used back then! I managed to remember the password though! Maybe I won't be defacing threads.)
    What is C++?

    A little too disturbing for an avatar. Glad you can't use it.

    I actually agree on that one.

    Yeah.

    I'm using FF right now and shoutatchickens isn't stretching the table like the image shows. It's fine in Opera too.

    I really do wish they would let you upload animated avatars (maybe a only for week or somthing, that way the people that WANT one will have it ) cause I got a really cool one I've been dying to use forever now.

    I'm not sure exactly what the reason they discontinued them was. I suspect it has to do with content. There are some avatars that display something innocent for up to several minutes, then something ... less than appropriate for a few seconds. It woudl be difficult for the mods to screen them all without using a graphics editor package that could show all the frames.
