boring clerical job where I do homework and programming projects whenever I get the chance.
Right now I am a manager in a fast food chain, I am developing my skills though in my spare time, especially with the encouragement of some people (My girlfriend and Bubba namely) I am building up coding examples and I am pretty sure I could get something entry/junior level, possibly even senior level depending on who is defining it heh.
In the last 2 weeks I have really gotten back into the swing of things, I have a rather professional looking wrapper for libcurl, not a complete wrapper, just curl easy, and just the things I need, but it is very well laid out in my opinion, looking to make it more bulletproof then I am going to post it up here to be shot down so I can improve it and use it as an example of my talents
I don't know if I will be returning to my CS degree before I go to getting a job in the field. There are times when I feel like I am advanced enough I could get a job, and other times I am uncertain, but I think I am going to take the plunge here soon.
Hard to get the money for a degree when you have flunked out of CC once and graduated from HS with a less than 1 GPA. I want to get back into the field so I can be making enough money to finish my degree without totally stressing out like most jobs do to me. I have worked in the field before I know how stressful it is, but I actually like it so I don't mind doing both.
We're supposed to have summer off if we are in school? *blink*
Since when does this happen I haven't had a summer off since I turned 16.
Wow I've made a great contribution to the site with my first post :-P
