I use OffByOne internet browser, best of all it doesn't fill your drive with temp or history files!! Get it atwww.offbyone.com .
Weeel, itss aboot tieme wee goo back too Canada, eeehy boyss.
Well whilst I have to admit that all these other browsers are better, faster and smarter than ie, the problem is that most web desigers pretty much assume your using ie. Thats why i stopped using opera, at the time it didn't even have a flash plugin (i don't even know if it has one now).
Yes it does have a flash plugin and also the applet viewing works straight off with no problems too (1 up on IE from my experiences).
Here's a list of my plugins with opera;
That's still no match for the list of plugins with just the defualt install of internet explorer.

Jeez..what the hell more do you want?
I have Flash, Acrobat, Java2....and...erm Windows Media Player (Which I must admit shocked me more)....
One thing I dont have is tons of vicious spyware.

That is a plus.
And now i know that it does actually have some support i'v redownloaded and am using it again.
You like the spyware?....well that's your concern, but I dont want any organisation to have more power over my brower and internet access than me....and using IE takes away my choice to choose. I want to build a full email app this year as a project........as soon as it is in a workable form.....kiss goodbye to Outlook Express too.Originally posted by shtarker

Uhhh I was talking about opera.
You don't have to download ie, it just magicly appears on your computer with windows.
But this board looks funny in opera, the coloums aren't straight any more

Sorry shtarker, I didnt read your post properly.
I use opera 90% of the time when browsing the web. It's the best browser around, IMO. Highlight a word, and you have the option to select "dictionary", which takes you right to the definition in an online browser. There is also a google bar, making web searches very easy. Finally, the mouse gestures make going back and forth so easy, especially with a large resolution. Going backwards doesn't require touching the keyboard or scrolling to the back button anymore.
Ok you've won me over.
Opera is a much better browser then ie could ever hope to be.
A lot more though and effort has gone into it yet and I do really like the mouse gestures.
