rub it in why dontcha?
i realized that Dean logged in right as i was registering, somehow this created our little hole in the space time continum that existed. NOTE: the member times no longer show this b/c i had to reregister
Problem with attachments - it works just fine with IE, but seems to be broken with Opera.
The attach file dialog seems to do all the right things, just no file upload

I think I may be on the track of fixing the logged in as another user bug. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Ignore the last post - forgot about
In the user options.Invisible Mode?
Selecting yes allows you to surf the forums without appearing in the 'Logged In Users' list.
"There are currently 4 members (1 invisible)"
would be perhaps an idea....

In the forum jump drop-down list, the "Please select one:" and the "-----" separators should not take you anywhere.
At present, they get you to

Being somewhat curious about how the board knows when I'm logged in, I used Opera to login as me, and IE to log in as guest.
So there I was, logged in as expected.
Then I quit the Opera (logged in as me), and refreshed the IE (guest) window, and I was still there....
So is there a timeout for this?
Moving on, I repeated this, only this time I used the logout feature of the board. Sure enough, I disappeared from the IE view.
However - this is just plain wrong.
It logs me out alright, but it also wipes out the cookie which allows me to auto login the next time I visit the siteAll cookies cleared! Click here to return to the forums index.

On the C++ Board
vB code is OFF

If you mean personalised images which appear with each message you post, then I have to disagree.images should really be enabled on this board. it sucks without them
I used to visit another board which allowed this, and it was abused (like 300x300 images, 1/2MB in size). Sure they're nice when you first see them, but they sure look lame after downloading them for the 100th time.
All I can say is that reasonable limits on the image/data size had better be enforced, or at least selectable (don't download personalised images larger than x,y or nKB).

The one feature which I still miss from the board before Ultraboard (how long ago was that?) is proper message threading.
It's hard to address specific replies to specific posts otherwise.
