Smile People who know what they are doing needed!

Hello all, I am trying to get people in on my growing platform of software... I could use the help. If you are 'good' at programming, and are interested in a good project ALLREADY IN THE MAKING, email me or IM me, or respond to this.

Why does noone respond to recrouting messages?!

    ALL help is appriciated, SPH

Ever since arriving on this planet I have been drawn to the inescapable conclusion that I have no idea what I am doing.

Proper consideration requires more information. I might be good at X while you need Y etc.

You will ALWAYs get a good response to job offers by starting with something like:

"large cartload of cash in a non-inflationary currency for..."

    Good hunting!

    Talking lolz....

Well, usually people will need to learn a new API to work with this stuff, its knowing the basics, so they can adapt and learn that counts .

it's no good saying "hey, i've got this great thing that we can do, and you'll earn a heap of cash if you help me out".... when you haven't specified what it is you're doing. for all we know you might be a pimp requiring more gigalos to do "favours" for perverts.

    you get the point??

tell us what you are doing!!! and then maybe you'll get someone to respond to a recruiting message in the way you want.

    Talking HAHAHAHA!

LOLZ! Yeah that would be great... but thats NOT it.

Theres no spesific project, I mean I do have projects that we 'could' work on, but I am just trying to get a group of programmers together, and THEN start a project we all like.

    SPH

P.S. Anyone know a job like that giggalo for perverted female thing? That really sounds like the life... lolz, I will work overtime .

...and then once it goes to the general board one of our merry mods will delete it for recruitment content...

Trust me people, I've worked with the kid on various things, and he basically has you do something, then kills off the project without tellig you...

I dare you to say this isn't true, sean.

1.) I have never worked with you
2.) You are a pain in the ass to work with, no offence, lazy oaf! lolz lol lol lol

Another thing... i've never gotton a successfull group of people together...

    SPH

P.S. Thats why I am trying to only get 'good', or should I say 'knowledgable' programmers.

No offense, buddy, but you seem to be quite ironical here. You say that you have never worked with him, and then you continue to contract his working style as if you have made productions with him.

What kind of project do you have in mind?

    Cool Okay

I just had like 2-3 pages writton as a reply, I had entered the wrong password and now its ALL GONE!!!! I will try to re-type:

Okay, I guess I should reword; I have never worked with ken in a GROUP but I have *tryed* to work with him on little things. Anywayz this isnt a 'mud-slinging' contest...

I would decide what type of thing we should work on once the group is together, I have a nice software base that is easy to use in projects to make it a LOT easyer than totally starting from scratch:

1.) JUJUFish - An All-Purpose Windows API (A lot easyer than learning all of the seprit API's, such as winSock, Dx8,OpenGL, ect.)

2.) 'DosGL' - A OpenGL 'Clone' I am working on, its software rendered and it runs on DOS, right now im running it on 13h, but it takes the video adress and init code outside of the library, so if anyone knows the code for a better video mode, its not problem adapting DosGL to it.

3.) A nice ObjectScriptor good for anything like macros, scriptis, for games: triggers, champagnes.

4.) A few little game engines and thier 'good points':
    - A pathfinding library compatable with MD2 3d Character Models.
    - Heightmapping and simple collision detection.
    - There was lots of other things here I won't care to re-type.

5.) A great linked list library *ITS SO EASY TO USE NO WONDER ITS #239283902839023092839023*, lolz , it uses void* pointers to hold any type of data you want, and you never have to touch one node, its all done with enumerations, almost like an array, but faster and easyer to use of course.

6.) LOTS AND LOTS MORE I TYPED THE FIRST TIME BUT IM TOO LAZY TO TYPE AGAIN!!!!

    Project Ideas of Mine:

1.) An expansive RPG / RTS / 1st Person (Not so boring to make ifits a complex game).
    3.) An interpreted scripting language.
    4.) An Intergrated web browser.
5.) The next step from #4, a full Windows GUI 'overhall'.
    6.) A x86 / Windows emulator for BeOS.

If anyone else that joins the group has any ideas on what we should do, all are welcome!

sphIDE (that stupid MDI IDE thing) comes to mind first. I set it up, and it had some problems...by the time I fixed them you told me ther project was off.

Not to mention countless others...and if you want to bring the bitshifting functions into it I never finished them because I knew you'd call the project off...but anyhow...

    Arrow lol...

I think we both though each other too lazy, I wont cut off a project as long as everyone involved is doign thier job. I could see you were'nt going to do ur job with it... so I didnt want to put in my efforts if you weren't going to. I recall your stating you werent working with me on those, you were just helping me with that peice. On that MDI thing I asked you over and over day after day and you never finished it. When I am sierious about a project I work on it night and day... thats how I completely a whole RTS framework engine in 2 days...
