GetSystemInfo() question

    GetSystemInfo() question

    Lets say I have a 4 processor motherboard and each processor is a quadcore Xeon with hyperthreading enabled..

    does anyone know for sure whether the dwNumberOfProcessors field will report 16 processors or 32?

    I wrote a quick test app, and as it turns out, the dwNumberOfProcessors field reports the number of logical processors, not the number of physical processors. So in the example above, it reported 32;
