Is Borland capable of everything MSVC++6.0 is? Capable of programming Windows API? And isn't it free? If these questions are true, then can somebody give me a link to the latest version of Borland?

I believe there is a link from the front page of this site, in the compilers section.
Thanks, but is it the same? Thanks...

The same a what, MSVC? I'm not sure as I don't use it, but I think the free version is missing quite alot of the features. Here's the link -

What do you mean, "missing a lot"?

Have a look at the URL, there's a table comparing the features between versions. I wasn't comparing it to MSVC.
Thanks, dude. I think I'll stick with MSVC++.

If you're looking for a free C/C++ compiler, download Dev-C++. Well, really Dev-C++ is the IDE, but compiles in either Cygwin or Ming32 (you can choose from the Compiler Options). The resource editor isn't good, however.

Approx. 7 megabyte download.
Borland does not support UNICODE as VC does, but that probably isn't a feature you will need for home use.

When in doubt, read the FAQ.
Then ask a smart question.
