    See through windows

    Here is my (complicated) issue. I need to have a window translucent with openGL running in it. Thats technically done. the second step in this application, I need to have parts of the window 100% transparent, so that mouse clicks are not registered with my app. Much like windows media player in skinned mode, where the application isnt a square window. I need to have the part of the window thats a certain color, basically, not there.

    Almost like what windamp and WMP do with thier different skins. This is a hard thing and im wondering if its even possible...if it is, can you guys point me in the right direction to find this info?

    Well obviously it's possible if other programs can do it

    Try a windows board search for "skinning." Here's one link I found that looks pretty decent;

    I know them not: not therefore am I short
    Of knowing what I ought."
