    which language

Hello, I've started to learn C for the first time. But I'm not sure if this is the route to go as a beginner. So I'm wondering which language would be easiest, and/or better for me to learn. Any help would be apreciated. Thank you, Distance Is Death.

Usually people start with an easier language such as VB. And then move onto more complex languages such as C/C++. There is nothing wrong with starting out with C/C++, it's only going to be a bit harder.

I myself learned C++ as my first language. Took me a while but now i can pick up any language fairly fast.

Well since you are asking in the windows formum...I would say both Visual Basic and C# are much easier than windows programming in C/C++. As far as better, that's more subjective...and is really dependant on what you are programming.

Python is fun, but you're not going to learn core Windows programming using it as everything is hidden behind ready made APIs which themselves are written in (usually) C.
