    MFC finished loading noticiation

I have a dialog based mfc app (platform:XPsp2/vs2k3). I'd like to be able to start a thread as soon as the app has finished loading (i.e. after OnInitDialog returns), but I can't find any such notification in MFC. Anyone got any idea how to do this?

    cheers

If you program in C++, you need Boost. You should also know how to use the Standard Library (STL). Want to make games? After reading this, I don't like WxWidgets anymore. Want to add some scripting to your App?

Call OnInitDialog() then your code. There will still be msgs in the que for the app caused by the init method.

OnIdle() is called when there are no msgs for the app.
