    Hi, is there a message for initialising an ordinary window?
    what I mean is, say you had a dialog function you have a WM_INITDIALOG message, which you can use to set initial data, is there an equivilant message for an ordinary window?

    Arrow Maybe...

    Maybe:

    in your part where it says something like:

    switch(message)
    {
    .
    . //code
    .
    }

    try adding case WM_CREATE:
