No, it wouldn't. Since he is using the windows API, then the only compatibility he needs to worry about is across windows systems. In that case TCHAR is compatible with both unicode and non-unicode builds whereas char is compatible with non-unicode builds only. If you are programming with the Windows API, it is always a good idea to make your code unicode compliant with the tchar.h routines and macros.Quote:
