    16 bit MS-Dos Subsystem Prob

Hello, I am experiencing problem with running my Borland C in Windows Xp. I am getting a message like this:

"16 bit MS - DOS Subsystem
    D:\opet\tc\BIN\TC.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\System32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications.
Choose 'Close' to terminate the application"

Borland C runs okay on some units that are Windows XP too but there are others that won't run such as now. Please help me because I do not know what to do and I don't know where to ask this question.

    Thanks

    /Dark Messiah

What you should do is upgrade to a compiler that's with the modern age.

Unless you got that compiler from your archaeology professor, it isn't worth the disk space it takes up.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
