    WindowProc() isnt a procedure for any window, and even if it was, you are still catching the F7 key incorrectly. Try this:

    Code:
    LRESULT CALLBACK WndProc(HWND hwnd, UINT msg, WPARAM wParam, LPARAM lParam)
    {
        switch(msg)
        {
            case WM_CLOSE:
                DestroyWindow(hwnd);
            break;
            case WM_KEYDOWN:
                if(wParam == VK_F7)
                    ::SendMessage(hwnd,WM_CLOSE,0,0);
            break;
            case WM_DESTROY:
                PostQuitMessage(0);
            break;
            default:
                return DefWindowProc(hwnd, msg, wParam, lParam);
        }
        return 0;
    }
