    Getting Hold of win API Refernce

    Hi there,

    I have an old copy of VC++ which came with a MSDN Win Api reference. However, it's getting quite dated now.

    Is there anywhere I can download an updated version? While MS seem to provide all this info on-line, I can't find anything I can just download.

    Thanks
    OS: Windows XP
    Compilers: MinGW (Code::Blocks), BCB 5

    Subscribe to MSDN. Microsoft releases an updated version of MSDN every 3-4 months. MSDN is 3 CDs.

    The platform SDK, a free download, includes the WinAPI documentation as well as updated headers, libraries, samples, help viewer and tools.

    The download is a couple of hundred megabytes. It can also be ordered on CD.

    The platform SDK will be updated to cover XP-SP2 in the next few days, so I suggest you wait before downloading.
