I think a PPPoE client would involve writing a network driver. Windows XP/2003 has built in PPPoE functionality.

As limited resources are loaded in Windows safe mode, PPPoE can't run in safe mode. I want to develop a client, which can even be run in safe mode.
By the way, how can I know what drivers, dll, etc are missing for PPPoE in safe mode?
