    read the CPU temperature

    I'm wondering about to create a C program that reads the CPU temperature and does other stuff if the temperature is > or < from a given constant..

    I know I can't read the temperature on old mainboard but it's not a problem...

    so, someone can help me ?
    mayube I have to use some magic api but i'm not able to find out some..
