Unhappy has anyone heard of ezwin.h

    hi guys,

i'm doing c++ for uni this year, and they have us using Dev-Cpp from bloodshed, running with MingW.

they want us to use somthing called EZwindows, which enables windows to be opened and drawn in etc... with a header fiole called ezwin.h.

thing is i cant get my DevCpp to compile properly, so i'm think i havent installed this ezwin thing properly.

if anyone has used this before, i'd appreciate a tip or 2.

    thanks!

And what does that mean? Compiler errors? Linker errors?

Google using "ezwin.h", a lot of the results are "howto's" for different systems and compilers.

    thanks for the replies, guys.

gg - you're i have done that already... half the results arent relevant cos they're not the same config... and some of the results are from my own uni, from people who have the same issue with results that dont work...
anyway - the error i get is the a variable is undefined, when the variable is dimmed in the include file, which obviously it can find....

devil - thanks. you're right, this isnt an actual windows application, i only found that out recently

So in other words, you're kinda simulating a gui...

I thought so, because I don't recall uni. teaching anything over the complex basics, well maybe tons and tons of useless math, but that's it, nothing too useful

well, if you're unable to find anything useful on the net, then try asking people around you, because I don't think this assignment is new, so ask the seniors, unless you are one In that case bride is always good
