Making an MFC form to suit

    Hi

I have been playing with the MFC Appwizard to make forms but am having dificulty in making a form to suit my needs.

I want the form to a be just like a 'dialog form' but with a status bar. If I create a dialog form using the wizard and then try to add the status bar component, the program brings up an error about the form not having the classes to support such a component. However all the other types of form are made with menu bars which I don't want.

What is the best way (without going too complicated a route) of creating a form to my liking - can I still use the wizard to do it?

    Thanks for any help

    TJJ
