    make it so window can't be resized

    how do you make it so a window can't be resized????

    Create the window so it can't be resized by removing the the WS_SIZEBOX or WS_THICKFRAME style.

    it dosn't have either of those...for the style it has:

    WS_OVERLAPPEDWINDOW

    WS_OVERLAPPEDWINDOW contains WS_THICKFRAME.

    You could try:
    WS_OVERLAPPEDWINDOW & ~WS_SIZEBOX

    ...in case you don't want to add all components 1 by 1.
