Every time I use WinSock in VB6 I get the same error message.
"Wrong protocal/connection state for requested action to take place"
Any ideas on a fix?
(P.S. I know i've got the code right, cause I'm using the tutorial GIVEn stuff)

Winsock API or Winsock control?
If Winsock control, try looking in its properties window for a protocol property. Try the different values.
Check out MSDN winsock 2 reference page.
