Hello folks.
I've been considering buying a webcam(usb\ieee1394) for some time now to play around with. In that spirit I was wondering if there are any winapi's that let me access the data that the webcam sends to the computer. Hopefully this isnt too vague, was thinking of making a small app that displays\saves an image of what the webcam is showing at a user-defined moment, i.e. when a user clicks a button or maybe at 12:00. Anyway, I've search on google, msdn and here without finding any good info so if anyone here has any links to any good articles or other hints it would be very appreciated.
