Where can i download the driver dev kit for 2k? They try to sell me a CD when i goto the crummy micro$haft page. Weren't they required by the courts to provide this information free? And if i cant get the whole DDK, where can i at the very least get the headers i need to compile some code? GRR.
Headers are useless without the libs...and the libs arent that usable without the build environment.
And the cost is for shipping ($15 for shipping to UK - not bad...cant really get a delivery from Amazon.com or Ebay.com to UK for less)
The Win2K DDK is on the web somewhere...but the new XP DDK covers Win2K
When i clicked on order the cd they wanted 299$ which is bs. I would like to get my hands on this stuff but googleing turned up nothing useful. Is any of it free to download? Why are they asking money for it? Dont they want people to develop hardware that runs on their OS>?
