i know a fairly good chunck of c++ (polymorphism inheritance just starting linked lists) and i was curious about the windows programming language.. now, i see the huge amount of code it takes to make a simple window and i ask you this... can that be included like iostream or do you have to type that and make it a template?
could you post some code that will make a simple window for msvc++?
i would greatly appreciate it. i dont normally ask for code but im clueless on this thanks!

You can use dialogs to reduce the amount of coding (you basically need a CreateDialog call).
