    can anyone post a link to a tutorial site for Wnn 32 API that dosen't use MFC??

    why not MFC?

    is you want to learn API, get a working program and then read the MSDN, that's the way I learnt API.

    You can find a lot of tutorials on this topic at www.cpp-home.com
    in the menu in left, click on tutorials, and then on Browse... you will see Windows Programming category... under it, several sub-categories... there is Win32 category as well... :-)
