    Talking whats this?you DONT need a resource editor!

    HA! i was told by reliable sources that id need a resource editor in order to make menu items apear. BAH! i have a way to make menu items (working ones) WITHOUT a resource editor. alot of people fed me a bunch of crap. ill post a code snippet soon.

    anyone want to see how this is done? (you more advanced users may know)

    You really don't need a resource editor for anything, but using it will make it easier to make menues/dialogs/stuff.

    I've never ever used a resource editor for menus and dialogs anyway (Due to my equating of MFC to Saddam Hussein). Perhaps I should send in the UN code inspectors...

    Non-template dialogs are quite hard to do however, and aren't for the faint-hearted.

    I have a resource editor! I use it all the time! It's called Win32 Programmers' Reference!

    actually im saying "**** IT" and im using MSVC++ reosurce editor at my school. save it to disk (header file and resource fle) and import it to bloodshed at school.

    i love the resaource editor MSVC++ has. i thought it was something you had to code manually anyways.

    but it kicks ass!
