Whats the difference between WNDCLASSEX and WNDCLASS?

I believe WNDCLASSEX is a larger structure.

WNDCLASSEX is

Newer.
Has small icon handle.
Has struc size as member.
Is used with the same functions (except they have Ex added to the end of their name)
