    Some BSD questions...

OK, i know theres plenty of *nix forums on the web, but i came here cause i know and trust you and respect your opinions. I really want to try out BSD because I'd really like to learn the ins and outs of operating system development and, obviously, because the source is open and freely available it seems like a good place to start learning those things. My problem is that i cant find the the drivers to support my motherboard. I'm using the Asus A8N-SLi Deluxe.
Does anyone have any ideas about where i should get them?

Or should i just look at some other OS?
    Thanks guys!

    ~M.I.

Just keep in mind that some things might or might not have full functionality or work at all. The BSDs/Linuxes are not really all up on the newest things all the time.

I have PC-BSD running on this old desktop. Very easy installation. Funny thing is I installed FreeBSD first and then I found PC-BSD online so I gave it a whirl, since it uses FreeBSD under the hood I just haven't gone back!

BLASPHEMY! Begone from my C board, you foul lover of objects, before the gods of C cast you into the void as punishment for your weakness! There is no penance for saying such things in my presence. You are henceforth excommunicated. Never return to this house, filthy heretic!
