I installed OpenSuse to a partitioned hard drive, but I am having some sound problems

I installed OpenSuse on my computer (having Windows on a separate partition), and it works fine, except that there is now no sound when I run linux, and I don't know how to configure it so that the OS has sound. Anyone know the solution?

I couldn't get much information about the sound card, the only information I could get was that it is a Realtek High Definition Audio card. But when I tried installing it with yast, it said "The kernel module snd-cs4236 for sound support could not be loaded. This can be caused by incorrect module parameters, invalid IO or IRQ parameters."

    ...Any ideas?
